...dec.d is granted him the said John Butler who thereupon executed bond with James C. Butler his security in the penalty of Twenty thousand Dollars, conditioned according to law, and the said --- took the oath prescribed by law as such.

It is ordered that William English -- and he is hereby appointed overseer of the third precinct of the Carver Ferry Road in the place of Green B. Willis resigned, and to call on the hands allotted to keep the same in repair.

An Inventory and appraisement of the estate of David Hoover in dec was this day returned which being examined and approved by the Court was ordered to record.

A Sale Bill of the Estate of David Hoover in dec was this day returned, approved and ordered to record.

A Settlement with Lewis Collins and George Cleveland adm of Thomas Collins dec'd returned and ordered to lie over until the next court for exceptions.

It is ordered that the following persons be appointed Judges, Clerks, and Sheriffs in the several districts in this county to hold elections in May next. It is ordered that Lewis H. Chrisman, Wm Duncan be appointed Judges and George Robinson Clerk, and Sam R. Welch to act as Sheriff as first set at the Court House.
It is ordered that Andrew Bourn and Morcan Brown be appointed Judges and George Bruce Clerk and James C. Wilmore act a Sheriff as the second --- at the Court House in the first District of this county to hold Elections in May next.

It is ordered that John Baxter and Moses Hunter Judges, Robt Todhunter Clerk, and Wm Bibb to act as Sheriff being the first set or class - Ordered that Saml E. Carroll and Mathew Wiley be appointed Judges, Samuel Phelps Clerk and Edmond Newman to act as Sheriff to hold election at Marble Creek School House in the second District of this county in May next.

...of Jessamine Creek which said Phillips is hereby authorized to do.

This Court doth Certify that William Campbell who intends applying for license to practice as an attorney and Counsellor at law, is a person of honesty, probity and good demeanor.

On motion of Dean Megee who adduced to the Court evidence of a compliance with the rep--- of law for that purpose, and the Court being satisfied of the necessity and pro--- therefore, it is ordered that the said Megee be and he is hereby authorized to close that section of the public road in this county called the Megee Road --- from the corner of Robert Allens farm to the Fayette County line.

Ordered that Franklin Taylor be and he is hereby appointed Overseer of the first Precinct of the Carvers Ferry Road, in the place of Wm H. English removed and to call on the hands allotted to keep the same in repair.

On motion of Gavin (?) Steele ordered that I--- Scott, Wm. H. Mathews, Charles West and John Corman or any three of them be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners to vein the way the said petitioner proposes to open a new road in this county as follows: Commencing at the first ---- on the Kentucky Rier bank on the land of said Steele and John M. ---- dec'd and up the river cliff on the land of said J. McMurtry dec'd to the land of John Hanly and ---- the land of said Hanly an the cliff of Jessamine Creek to the land of Wm Phillips on said Phillip's land up ---wood branch to the land of Harrison Phillips, and on said Harrison Phillips land up said branch to the Spring of said H. Phillips thence up the hollow leading to said Spring to the land of Wm Overstreet at the Old Jessamine Road, and with said Old Jessamine Road to the ...
