Hickman Co. KY deeds, no reference given, transcribed from copy of original

This deed this day made between Wm. F. Davis of the first part and W.C. Lewis of the second part Witnesseth that the said Wm. F. Davis for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid has this day granted bargained and sold to said W.C. Lewis Lot No. 3 in the division of the land of Lydia Ann Davis in the Hickman County Court being part of the Southwest quarter of Section 29, Township 2 Range 2 West bounded as follows:  beginning at a sumac with two red oak pointers thence east 92 poles to a post thence north 26 poles to a post with hickory pointers thence west 92 poles to a post with sassafras and oak pointers thence south 26 poles to the beginning containing fifteen acres by survey. To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with the premises unto the said W.C. Lewis his heirs and assigns forever with general warranty. Witness my hand this 10th day of July 1880. W.F. Davis

 I, Smith R. Taylor, Clerk of the Hickman County Court in the state of Kentucky do certify that this deed from Wm. F. Davis to W.C. Lewis was on the 19th day of July 1880 acknowledged before me in my office by the grantor to be his act and deed and that I have recorded said deed with this certificate in my office.
