Joseph and Susan Jackson to William S. Jackson - Deed Book I Page 32

This indenture made and entered into this 5th day October 1853 between Joseph Jackson and Susan his wife of the county of Graves and State of Kentucky of the one part and William S Jackson of the county of Hickman and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of Four hundred and thirty three dollars cash in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath this day granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said party of the second part a certain tract or parcel of land lying in the said county of Hickman and state aforesaid it being ninety five acres of the northern part of the North East quarter of section 12 T 3 R 3 West. To have and to hold unto him the said William S Jackson his heirs ge together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining with General Warranty. In testimony whereof the said Joseph Jackson together with Susan his wife (who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in and to the premises hereby conveyed) have hereunto set their hands and seals this day and year first above written.

I G Wm Rennich Clerk of the Hickman County Court in the State of Kentucky do certify that this deed from Joseph Jackson and Susan his wife to Wm S Jackson was on the 5th day of Octr 1853 acknowledged before me in my office by said grantors to be their act and deed and the said deed with this certificate has been duly recorded in my office.
