Drewry & Susana Bennett to John Jackson - Deed Book I Page 19

This indenture made and entered into this 14th day of October 1853 between Drury Bennett & Susan Bennett his wife of the county of Graves and state of Kentucky of the first part and John Jackson of the county of Hickman and the state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth, that for and in consideration of the sum of $300.0 in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the said Bennett & wife has granted, bargained, and sold, and by these present doth grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Jackson his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Hickman and state aforesaid, and known and designated as follows, to wit 100 acres off the west end of the quarter section of land known as the North East quarter of section 12 Township 2 Range 2 West. The division line running North and South the entire length of quarter to have and to hold the said tract of land with the appurtenances unto the said Jackson his heirs and assigns for ever with general warranty in testimony whereof we have here unto set our hand this date above written.

I, G Wm Rennick Clerk of Hickman County Court in the state of Kentucky, do certify that this deed from Drury Bennett and Susana Bennett his wife to John Jackson was on the 14th October 1853. Acknowledged before me in my office by the grantors to be their act and deed and that the same with this certificate has been duly recorded in my office.
