William and Jane Jackson to Ezekial Rambo - Deed book H Pages 191-192

This Indenture made this 7th day of July in the year 1857 between Wm Jackson of the county of Graves and state of Kentucky of the one part and Ezekiel Rambo of the county of Hickman and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said William Jackson for and in consideration of one hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Rambo his heirs and assigns eighty acres of land off of the north half of a certain quarter section of land & delegated as the south east quarter of section twenty one Township three range two west in Hickman County containing eighty acres together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with the appurtenances to the said Ezekiel Rambo his heirs and assigned forever and said William Jackson for himself his heirs executors and administrators the aforesaid act of land and appurtenances unto the said Ezekiel Rambo his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whatsoever doth and will forever warranty and defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said William Jackson together with his wife Jane Jackson who hereby relinquishes her right of dower and the lands conveyed in this deed hereunto set their hands and seals this day and date above written

I, G. Wm Rennich clerk of the Hickman County court in the state of Kentucky do certify that this deed from William Jackson and Jane his wife to Ezekiel Rambo was on the 7 day of July 1857 acknowledged by me in my office by the said William Jackson to be his act and deed and the wife Jane Jackson being examined by me privily and apart from her husband and declared that she did freely and willingly seal and deliver deed writing and wishes not to retract it and acknowledged the said (?) (?) and explained to her to be her act and deed and conveyed that the same may be recorded.

Whereupon the said deed with this certificate hath been duly recorded in my office. Given under my hand this 18 day of July 1857.
