John Jackson to William Jackson for Goods - Deed Book C Page 504

 

 

 

 

State of Kentucky - Hickman County

This is to certify that I John Jackson of the county and state aforesaid has this day Bargained and sold to Wm Jackson all the property to wit – fore hear of cattle, one crib of corn, one loft fodder & eleven head of sheep. Also three sows and fifteen pigs. All so one clock and all my household and kitchen furniture. Also one thousand (wate Slawlard) poke for the consideration of Two hundred dollars to me in hand pade this 12th January 1839. In Witness when of I also set my hand and seal.

I WH Taylor clerk of the county court for the county aforesaid do certify that this sale bill from John Jackson to William Jackson was on the 12 day of January 1839 produced to me in my office by the said William Jackson and acknowledged by the said John Jackson to be his act and due whereupon the said sale bill together with this certificate hath been duly admitted to record in my office. Given under my hand this 17 day of January 1839.
