I have this day sold at public sale by virtue of an execution of fe.fa. directed to the sheriff of Hickman County KY in favour of Kiggs & Aitson vs James M Samuel which the said execution was for the sum of $1500 besides interest costs unto the said OG Cates the following property towit:

Hickman County ToWit:

I, Henry L Edrington, clerk of the county court for said county do certify that the foregoing sale bill from Thomas Griffey to Owen G Cates was produced to me and acknowledged by the said Griffey on the 7th day of October 1835 to be his act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned. Whereupon the same together with the foregoing certificate hath been duly recorded in my office. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 29th day of October 1835.
