This indenture made this 25 day of October in the year 1834 between Owen S Jackson of the county of Hickman and state of Kentucky of the one part and James Cash of the county and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that the said Owen S Jackson for and in consideration of fifty dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bought granted and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said James Cash his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land Situate and being in the county of Hickman on the waters of Little Obyne Creek being as follows including all the land west of a large branch of the north west quarter of Section one township 3 range  2 west be it more or less together with all and singular the appurtenance thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with the appurtenance unto the Said James Cash his heirs or assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever doth and will forever warrant and defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said Own S Jackson together with Martha his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower to the lands conveyed in this deed hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and date above written signed sealed and delivered in presence of:

Kentucky Hickman County set
We, Edmund T Wright and Joseph Grundy two of the Commonwealth Justices of the peace for Said County do certify that Martha Jackson the wife of the within named Owen S Jackson this day personally appeared before us who being examined privy and apart from her husband as the law directs with her own free will and consent Relinquished her Right of Downer to the premises conveyed in this deed and the same is certified to the clerk of the county court for the county of Hickman for Record where the premises lie. Given under our hands and seals this 25th day of October 1834.

Commonwealth of Kentucky Hickman county towit
I  Henry L Edrington clerk of the county court for the county aforesaid do certify that the foregoing Owen S Jackson to James Cash was produced to me on the 2nd of March 1835 and proven by the oath of E.T. Wright and again produced on the 1st of June and fully proven by the oath of Joseph Grundy Subscribing witnesses thereto to be the act and deed of Said Jackson whereupon said deed together with the foregoing certificate hath been duly recorded in my office. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 6th day of June 1835.   H.L. Edrington
