Elijah & Sarah Morris to Thomas Rivers - Deed Book B Page 428

This indenture made and entered into this 23rd day of May 1834 Between Elijah Morris of the county of Hickman and state of Kentucky of the one part and Thomas Rivers of the Town of Moscow and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Morris for and in consideration of Forty dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the Rivers his heirs and assigns Lots No. 30 and 31 in the Town of Moscow Kentucky and Known on the plan of Said Town by said Numbers To have and to hold the Lots hereby conveyed to him the said Thomas Rivers his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever claiming by through or under him the said Elijah Morris but from no other person doth and will forever by these presents In witness the said Elijah Morris together with Sarah Morris his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in and to the lots conveyed by this deed hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and first above written.
