Washington Jackson to John Lellers: Deed Book B Page 291-292

This Indenture made this nineteenth day of Fe in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four Between Washington Jackson of the County of Hickman and commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part and John Lellers of the County and commonwealth aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Washington Jackson for and in consideration of the sum of Three hundred Dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said John Lellers his heirs and assigns all that tract on parcel of land situated and being in the county of Hickman and bounded as follows (?) the North part of the northeast quarter of section Twenty and Township one Range two West beginning at the section corner thin a West six and a degrees south one hundred and fifty eight poles to a hickory and a black oak pointed Thence South six & a half degrees east one hundred and twenty poles to a Stake thence east six and a half degrees North one hundred and fifty eight poles to a Stake on the Section and County line thence with the said line one hundred and Twenty two poles to the beginning containing one hundred and twenty and a half Acres more or less together with all and singular the appertainers thereunto belonging or in anyway appertaining to have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with the appertainces unto the said John Lellers his heirs or assigns forever and the said Washington Jackson for him self his heirs executors or administrators there aforesaid tract or parcel of land with the appurtenances unto the said John Lellers his heirs or assigns (?) the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever doth and will forever warrant and deferred by these presents in witness whereof the said Washington Jackson hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and date first above written signed sealed and delivered in persons                       Washington Jackson {seal}

I, Henry L Edrington clerk of the county court for the county aforesaid do certify that the foregoing deed from Washington Jackson to John Lellers was produced to me on the 19th day of March 1834 and acknowledged by the said Jackson to his be act and Deed whereupon the same together with the foregoing certificate hath been duly admitted to record in my office. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 19th day of March 1834.
