Samuel P. Stockwell

Samuel P. Stockwell was born 23 Dec 1853 and died 11 Feb 1884.  He was the son of Samuel Stockwell, Jr. and Charlotte C. Ashton.  Samuel P. Stockwell married Kate T. Amos.  Kate T. Amos was born 27 Jul 1855 and died 14 May 1940.  She was the daughter of William W. Amos and Emily Hardin.  Samuel and Kate were laid to rest in the Fleming County Cemetery, in Flemingsburg, Ky.  Samuel and Kate had three children:  Alyette S. Stockwell, Belle Dudley Stockwell, and Edith Stockwell.  Samuel P. Stockwell was the co-owner of Martin Stockwell Restaurant.
