RICHMOND, Ind. -- Gladys Saylor, age 90, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at Heritage House, where she had resided for the last year. Born in Estill County, Ky., May 8, 1913, she was the daughter of Fred and Kate Moore Witt. She had lived in Richmond most of her life. She was a former employee of Avco and in 1975 retired after 33 years of faithful service.She attended First Assembly of God Church of Richmond.
 

She is survived by her husband, John W. Saylor, who she married in 1947 in Yorktown, Ind; two sisters, Adie Jordan of Winchester, Ky., and Flossie Mitchell of Ridgeville, Ind.; as well as many nieces and nephews. Gladys is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Zella Berryman; and three brothers, Raymond Witt, Fred Witt Jr. and Clarence Witt. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at 10 a.m.at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road W., Richmond, Ind. Rev.
Carlos King, Rev. Eugene Saylor and Rev. Jack Hines will officiate.
 

Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday, April 6, 2004, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
