Mildred
“Mitzi” Wilcox Ladd, 81, Lexington, widow of George Douglas Ladd, died Sunday
October 26, 2003. Born in Estill County, KY she was a daughter of the late
Robert James and Rose Lee Hall Wilcox. Mrs. Ladd was a Charter Member and
Charter Deacon of Beaumont Presbyterian Church. Survivors include a son and
daughter-in-law, Greg and Laura Ladd, Lexington; four grandchildren, Catherine,
Field, Gregory and Leslie Ladd; a brother, David Calvin Wilcox, Lexington; and
several nieces and nephews. Services will b e 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the
Beaumont Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Chris Roseland and Jim Wilcox,
with burial in Lexington Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Bill Wilson, Richard
Wilson, Davy Wilcox, Billy Wilcox, Jim Wilcox, Norman Wilcox, Robert Stoots and
Bill Brewer. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at W.R. Milward
Mortuary-Southland. Memorial contributions may be sent to Beaumont Presbyterian
Church or Hospice of the Blue Grass.
