Grinnell, Helen Winkler


Helen Winkler Grinnell, 79, 1785 Brewer Drive, widow of William W. ‘Bill’ Grinnell died Thursday December 18, 2003 at her residence. She was a retired bookkeeper for Crane Distributing Company, born in Estill County, Kentucky daughter of the late Bert and Emma Neikirk Winkler. Mrs. Grinnell was a member, deacon and choir member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was also a member of the RALI Group [Retired and Liking It] and a member of the Caring Committee at Trinity Baptist Church. She was also active with Meals on Wheels. Surviving are one daughter,Judy Ann Mudge, Austin, Texas, one son, Roger L. Cox, Lake Elmo, Minnesota, step-daughter, Brenda Jones, Pomona Park, Florida, six grandchildren, Debbie Gossett, Darrin Creech, Derek Creech and Nicole Creech all of Austin, Texas, Angie Wardlow, Bastrop, Texas and Roger Landon Cox, Lake Elmo, Minnesota also five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:30 P. M.Monday at the W.R.Milward Mortuary-Broadway conducted by Rev.. Jay Robison, Phd. and Dr. Richard Landon with burial in the Paris Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Darrin Creech, Derek Creech, Roger Landon Cox, Phillip Maffett, William Lehman and John Wagner. Friends may call 2-5 & 7-9 P.M. Sunday.
