Wallace Crank

Wally Crank, 73, of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004, at his residence. He was born on August 27, 1939, in Irvine, Kentucky, to the late Leonard and Nancy (Winkle) Crank. He was a self-employed brick mason.

Wally is survived by his four sons, Conrad Crank and his wife Donna of Greensburg, Indiana, Terry Crank of Seymour, Indiana, Donald Crank and his wife Susan of Middletown and Frank Crank and his wife Misty of Florida; three step-children, Harold Jarvis and his wife Charlotte of Hamilton, Virginia Hess of Mansfield and Rose Ramirez and her husband Juan of Mansfield; fifteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, James Crank of Florida; two sisters, Jane Allen of Hamilton and Roberta Gregory of Seven Mile; also surviving is his long time companion, Jerri Porter of Hamilton. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rudolph and Garrett Crank and three sisters, Eugenia Crank, Betty Tincher and Jacqueline Young.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on March 25, 2004, at the Lewis Funeral Home (224 Main Street Irvine, Kentucky). Burial will follow in Sparks Alumbaugh Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Webb Noonan Funeral Home (Ross Ave. at South “D” Street) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 and also two hours prior to the service on Thursday. Family suggest contributions be made in his memory to the Shriner Burns Institute, 3229 Burnet Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095.
