John Bradley

John Bradley, 68, of 4336 Michaels Drive, Franklin, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Hillspring Nursing Home.

He was born on Sept. 28, 1935, in Estill, Ky., the son of Woodrow and Mary (Gibson) Bradley. Mr. Bradley was a teacher for Middletown Schools for two years, beginning in 1956. He was employed by Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a director for Manpower & Organization for 20 years, retiring in 1977. 

He was also self-employed with Miami Valley Insulation for five years and received two MBA degrees from Morehead University and Central Michigan University. John was a Kentucky Colonel and was an avid Kentucky basketball fan and fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lora Dean (Gayheart) Bradley; a son, David Bradley of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Kara Bradley of Franklin; two grandchildren, Cory and Taylor Bradley of Las Vegas, Nev.; and a sister, Shirley Seifert, and her husband, Bill, of Springboro.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 22, at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, with the Rev. Vernon Risner officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
