Henry Sherrow to Catherine Barnes Sherrow

Letters Home

Submitted by Sharon Lemay Moore

These letters were written by Henry Sherrow to his wife Catherine Barnes Sherrow, daughter of John Barnes. Henry and Catherine were married May 28 1856 in Estill Co KY. When the letters were typed by Mary Jo Gahm, a GG Granddaughter of Henry and Catherine, she decided to leave the spelling as it was. There was very little punctuation, if any, and we are sure they many of the letters were written by friends or family or others that were able to read and write.
