Interesting note from Debbie
Osborne Rose - "William Simpson Tipton started that cemetery. He
lived about where the store has recently been built that sits at Junction
213 (that's the split that takes you up to Tipton Ridge). He was the first
buried in this cemetery but the land did not belong to him! The oak
tree is no longer there, but I thought that would be an interesting fact
to post."
