Will of Nancy Keith Murray

Last Will and Testament of Nancy V. (Keith) Murray:

I, Nancy V. Murray, of Clay County, KY, being of sound mind and disposing
memory and knowing the uncertainty of life, make and publish this my last
will and testament.

1st - I desire a decent, Christian burial and my funeral expenses and all my
debts to be paid.

2nd - I will and bequeathe unto Sarah Stewart, May Pigg, and Martha Abner
each to be paid $1.00 whenever called for after my death.

3rd - I will and bequeathe to my youngest daughter, Susan Murray, she being
young and of tender years, all the balance of my estate, not disposed of,
whether the same be real, personal or mixed, choses in action or money.
Signed, sealed, delivered in the presence of as the last will and
testament of Nancy V. Murray, this May 16th, 1871.

State of KY, County of Clay, Sct.
I, James Marcum, Clerk of the Clay County Court certify that the
foregoing writing dated the 16th of May, 1871 was produced to the Clay
County Court on the first day of its March term and proven by the oath of
J.S.M. Dickenson, attesting witness to the will of Nancy V. Murray and said
Dickenson also proved the attestation of H.L. Ward, attesting witness who is
absent from the county whereupon said writing was ordered to record as the
will of Nancy Murray, which is done. Given under my hand as Clerk of Clay
County Court, this 5th March 1888. James Marcum, Clerk
