Susan played the guitar and a banjo very well. When she died she willed the guitar pictured with her along with a banjo to her son, Edward Hammons, born April 3, 1912 and died June 24, 2002, father of Donna Hammons King. Donna's brother, Floyd Hammons now has both of these instruments and they are well preserved.
