Blevins Davidson was born in Wildcat,Clay County,Kentucky on February 16, 1860 he is the son of Silas Davidson and Sarah "Sally" Hays. His Paternal Grandparents are Veteran of War Of 1812 John Madison Davidson and Polly Campbell. Maternal grandparents are John Hays and Jane 'Jennie " Callahan. He married Ellen "Romaine" Potter June 19,1880 in Clay County,Kentucky. They had 10 children as follows all were born in Wildcat, Clay County, Kentucky.

He was born and died on the farm his father had lived on, they were a family of farmers, hunters and trappers they were very proud of their farms and loved the adventures of living in the Wilds Of Eastern Kentucky. He was a God Fearing family man that loved his family and would defend them with a vengeance. I feel such a special bond to my Great-Grandfather even though he went on to be with his savior twelve years before I was born, at times when I look at his picture I feel such warmth coming from his eyes maybe because of the love and affection my Grandmother always spoke with when she told stories of him.
