From Manchester, go north on Hwy 421 for about 6 miles to the Shepherd Farm on Island Creek. The farm was formerly known as the Charlie “Coon” and Mary Ann Hollingsworth Hornsby Farm. There is a sign, Shepherd’s Auto Parts, at the entrance to the road leading to the Shepherd home. The cemetery is on the hill back of their home.
