KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we Henry Tindle and James Piper are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the sum of L50 to the payment whereof well and truly to ge made, we bind ourselves,our heirs &c. jointly and severally , firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this 14th day of February, 1848
The condition of the above obligation is such, That whereas a marriage is shortly intended to be solemized between the above bound Herny Tindle and Polly Piper( names are both signed, and not typed in) of this county. Now shallit always hereafter appear, that there is no just cause to obstruct the said marriage, then the avove obligation to be void, else to remain in full force and firtue:
