Sale Bill of John and Sally (GILL) ROBERTSON in Glasgow, Kentucky. (Copied from the hand written original)

This indenture, made this 14th day of June, 1811, between John Robertson and Sally his wife of the County of Barren and the State of Kentucky of the one part and Randal Harlow of the County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty Pounds to said Robertson in hand paid and the receipt whereof is hereby acknow- ledged hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain to sell unto said Harlow a certain tract of Parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Barren and adjoining the Blue Spring Grove and bounded as follows(to wit) Beginning at a hickory and black oak original corner of his land right thence with a line therof S 88 W158 poles to two Elms in McClungs military line thence with the same N 5 W36 poles to his corner a White Oak and Hickory thence with another of McClungs line N 27 W 140 poles to a hickory stump in Henry Cook's field and on the line of 5(deg) Headright thence with said line N 66 E55 poles to three post oaks thence S 66 E 120 poles to a stake thence S24 E130 poles to the Beginning containing one hundred and fifty nine acres with its appur- tenances to have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the only proper use in behoof of the said Harlow and his heirs forever and the said John Robertson and Sally his wife doth hereby covenant and agree that they will forever warrant and deffend the afoesaid tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Harlow and his heirs from claim of the claimants of the said Robertson and Sally his wife and their heirs and all and every person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof the aforesaid John Robertson and Sally his wife have here- unto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year above written.
