 This indenture made and entered into the twentieth day of May 1819. Between Richard C. Craddock of the county of Green and State of Kentucky of the one part and John Wyatt of the county of Montgomery and State of Tennessee of the other  part.

Witnesth that said Richard C. Craddock for an in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said John Wyatt before the sealing and delivering of these presents______[ in between these two lines was written very small: the receipt whereof  he doth acknowledge___ granted] sell and confirm unto the said John Wyatt and his heirs and assigns forever.

One certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Barren and State of Kentucky containing one hundred acres be th same more or less and bounded as follows;(___ ) Beginning at a corner stake in Mitchell’s line, thence S 66,  E 103 1/4 poles to a stake thence S 24, W 154 poles and 23 links to a stake thence N 66 W 103 1/4 poles to a stake in the Barren Thence N 24 E 154 poles and 23 links to the beginning to have and to hold the said tract or parcels of land with all the appertinances [ as spelled in document] there unto belonging unto him the said John Wyatt, his heirs and assigns forever and the said Richard C. Craddock for himself his heirs executors and administrators doth covenant and agree to and with said John Wyatt that he the said Richard C. Craddock will warrant and forever defend the right and title in and to the aforesaid tract or parcel of land unto him the said John Wyatt his heirs __ forever free from claim or claims of all persons whatever.  In Witnesth  whereof the said Richard C. Craddock hath set his hand and affixed his seal the year and date above written.

Barren county to wit August 16th 1819.

This indenture from Richard C. Craddock to John Wyatt was on the day of the date hereof acknowledged before me in office by the said Richard C. Craddock to be his act and Deed and thereupon the said indenture was entered of record in said office.                        T____ W. Logan  clk
