This Indenture made and entered into this 31st day of December 1825 witnesseth that HENRY CARTER of Barren County has this day granted and delivered in Trust, to GEORGE CARTER and WILLIAM EDMUNDS, as Trustees, one negro Woman ROSE, and her child RACHEL with all their furture increase for the use and benefit, of his dauther POLLY THRELKILL and her children, CARTER, JOHN, KITTEY and FRANCES THRELKILL's and the said CARTER, and EDMUNDS are to use the said Negroes wtih all their increase in any way they may chuse, for the benefit of the said POLLY and her children, but are not to use the said Negroes for theri own benefit, or the benefit of any toher person or persons whatever but the said POLLY and her children, above mentioned In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this day and date above written

Kentucky Barren County to wit
I, WILLIAM LOGAN clerk of the County Court for the County of Barren do certify that this Deed of Trust, from HENRY CARTER to GEORGE CARTER and WILLIAM EDMUNDS, was acknowledge before me by the said HENRY CARTER, GEORGE CARTER, and WILLIAM EDMUNDS to be their act and deed whereupon the said Deed of Trust and this certificate was duly admited to Recod in my office this 20th day of March 1826.
