Eliza Holman, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Settle, was born Sept. 4th, 1814.
William Henry Holman, son of John W. and Eliza Holman, was born Oct. 7th, 1834.
Sarah Elizabeth Holman was born July 10th, 1836.
Mary M. Holman was born May 19th, 1838.
Charles Holman was born June 19th, 1840.
Joseph Holman was born Sept. 10th, 1842.
Nancy Jane Holman was born April 11th, 1846.
Simon Holman was born June 30th, 1848.
Susan Holman was born Sept. 26th, 1850.
Allis Holman was born April 13th, 1853.
Malinda Francis Holman was born June 22nd, 1855.
James Alfred Holman was born Dec. 15th, 1857.

DEATHS: An infant son of J.W. and Eliza Holman which was unnamed was born Sept. 4, 1844 and died Feb. 18, 1845.
John W. Holman died Jan. 7, 1867.
Malinda Francis Pedigo died April 14th, 1883. Eliza Holman died July 29, 1884.
William H. Holman died March 1st, 1892.


COMMENTS:

John W. HOLMAN and Eliza SETTLE were married 18 Apr 1833 in Barren Co., KY (Barren Co. KY Marriage Bonds and Ministers Returns, File No. 5, Marriage of Eliza Settle and John W. Holman).

They are both buried in Warren Co., KY, near Smith's Grove (Hays), Holman family cemetery, 3 miles east of intersection of routes 101 and 68, close to Sinking Creek. The Holman Cemetery was on the Charles Rector Farm in 1968. The cemetery is about 100 feet from the house in a NE direction. It's in a small wooded area.
